Immigrated to the UK 20 years ago, is still very proud of her South African roots, despite having a healthy dose of British, Italian and Welsh blood in her genetic makeup. Has a wide interest base, and writes about anything that interests her. Is a bit of a foodie and consequently has a lifetime membership to weight watchers. Known to her friends as the 'Voucher Queen', loves a bargain, and has a voucher for every occasion. Has a love/hate relationship with studying and has numerous qualifications in different areas of learning - currently trying to complete a masters degree in Dementia Care Education.
