The ID Concept GTI previews Volkswagen’s first-ever electric Golf GTI. Based on the ID 2 it is set to go on sale in 2027 and means that the current eighth generation GTI will be the last to be powered by an internal combustion engine.
‘The ID GTI Concept is based on the ID 2all and will be built as a sports car for the electric age that is suitable for everyday use’, according to Volkswagen‘s press release.
