Springboks supporters have poked fun at a seal’s prediction of the SA vs France RWC game.

A seal from a British sanctuary has become the laughing stock of South African Twitter, or X after it incorrectly predicted the outcome of the Springboks vs England Rugby World Cup game.

To make matters worse, social media users have revealed how the sanctuary employees tricked the animal into making its decision.

SPRINGBOKS SUPPORTERS TROLL JINX THE SEAL

In a clip posted on their social media platforms, the Cornwall Seal Sanctuary shared a video of Jinx the seal predicting England’s win.

In the viral video, the animal slides over to a sanctuary worker who points at two flags: one for England and another for South Africa.

Without hesitation, the seal swims over to England’s red and white flag.

But according to South Africans, the seal was duped as the woman in the video seemingly lures the animal to her food bucket, pictured closest to the England flag.

“You’ll never cheat Africans,” scoffed one tweep in response to the video. Another added: “Corruption does not guarantee success”.

ALL BLACKS PREDICT A WIN TOO?

The Springboks will take on their biggest rugby rivals in the World Cup finale on Saturday, 28 October at the Stade de France.

Sending an ominous message to their opponents, the Twitter account of the All Blacks posted a pic of both teams. “We meet again”, it captioned the iconic image.

In another tweet, the All Blacks posted a picture of them seemingly clinching the Webb Ellis trophy.
