How do you keep busy and warm during the winter months? Baking is a great way to keep moving and have a tasty result when you’re done. It’s also the perfect time to teach the kids how to bake during the holidays. Our mixed nut loaf is a healthy alternative to regular white bread but also has some flavour and texture. When you have a recipe that takes less than an hour, you feel even more excited to give it a try.

Mixed nut loaf suggestions

Savoury loaves of bread are extra special because they add something different to your regular loaves. A mixed nut loaf adds those nutritious fats but they also add texture. A nut loaf is great with a generous spread of butter with your morning tea or coffee. You can also add the classics like peanut butter (yes, we want to add more nuts) and banana. However, add some sweetness with some of your homemade jam or other favourite preserves.
