Did your grandma make her jam? Do you make your jams and preserves at home? Strawberry jam is a classic condiment and is much easier to make than you think. Our homemade strawberry jam is sweet and has a beautiful texture. You can make your jam with very few ingredients and then enjoy it on some toast, a biscuit or even use it in a berry pie.

Homemade strawberry jam suggestions

One doesn’t simply boil some fruits to make jam. You need to macerate the fruit by covering it with sugar and letting it sit for a few hours so that the fruit can soften and the juice come out. Be aware, when you make jam, that the risk of burning is high when stirring and pouring. Strawberry jam is perfect on some toast with cheese or a croissant and even as a pie filling.
