South African-born comedian and The Daily Show host, Trevor Noah recently interviewed Michael B. Jordan – the American actor, producer and Black Panther star who is popularly known for his physical skills in the movie, Creed.

Michael – who was named People magazine’s ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ for 2020 – sat down with Trevor to talk about his new role, Without Remorse, where he plays the relentless elite Navy SEAL hero John Clark.

In the interview, Michael discussed his lifelong desire to star in an action movie, saying: “These types of movies are the things that I grew up watching. I love action movies, you know? So I was like, ‘One day, I want to do my own action movie, and I’ma do my own stunts,’ and this was the one for me to check that box.”

The two then spoke about his workout routine for the role, which was quite demanding according to the actor. He says that he went through actual Navy Seal training in order to do his own stunts.

“Before we talk about the movie I just wanna know how much more muscle are you planning to create, like from your human body?” Trevor asked. “Because I watched you the whole movie and it was very discouraging, Michael, because I stay at home and I eat ice cream.  Do you actually eat?”

Michael then said that he was actually about to eat some strawberry doughnuts.

“So I do eat, I eat a lot. I’ve actually let myself go in recent months, it’s been pretty bad quarantine has taken it toll on this body…”

Then Michael extended an invite to Trevor to workout with him.

“Listen, we got to work out one time. That’s it!” Michael quipped before Trevor decided to respond in true Noah style. “Why would I do that to myself as a human being? Why would I, as Trevor Noah, go work out with Michael B. Jordan? To feel what about myself Michael, what are you trying to do?”
