Khama Billiat’s picture with his new teammate with shredded boots left fans laughing on Facebook, with some defending them on 29 February.

Billiat remains among the most-paid Zimbabwean footballers in the local league. Khama shocked fans in the past few months when he did not attend Kaizer Chiefs training.

With that, he divided fans, with some saying he disrespected the club after the club revealed their side. They said Khama did not answer phone calls or respond to their emails asking for an explanation.

Since then, his fans have been speculating about his next move, which will link him with top teams in South Africa and Asia. He later surprised fans after he signed for Yadah FC, and the founder and owner, Walter Magaya, welcomed him.

“It is important to celebrate our own, who have flown our flag high and represented the nation with distinction. Welcome @khamabilliat”

The latest Sports Update shared the picture on Facebook, revealing the details some fans had missed. The talented midfielder Prosper Kafelapanjila wore torn boots, and fans laughed at him.

After a social cry, Yadah FC responded by buying the talented number 10 new boots, as revealed by Zim Celebs Official.

“From grass to grace Yadahfc player Prosper Kafelapanjila in new training boots after being trolled recently after the picture went viral with him and the newly signed player Khama Billiat @kafelapanjila”, Zim Celebs Official reported.

After Khama Billiat trended with his teammate with shredded boots, we looked at the rise of their club. According to Wikipedia, the club started as Gunners in 2005 by Cuthbert Chitima.

Magaya bought the club in 2014, renamed it Yadah Stars FC, and gave energy and finances to the team. After Magaya’s takeover, they improved and got promoted in 2016 after winning the Zifa Division One Eastern Region.

They faced relegation but returned to the top league the following year. Since then, Yadah FC has been singing big names in players and coaches and has managed to be a force in Zimbabwean football.
