‘He’s been begging her’: Elton Jantjies and Ashleigh Ogle ‘in legal battle’

Disgraced Springboks player Elton Jantjies’ problems are piling up.

Two weeks after the rugby player was handed a four-year ban after testing positive for a banned substance, Zimoja reports that his ex-girlfriend, Ashleigh Ogle, has applied for a protection order against him.

ASHLEIGH OGLE FILES PROTECTION ORDER AGAINST ELTON JANTJIES

A source told the publication that Jantjies was threatening to kill the OnlyFans model for allegedly damaging his reputation.

“She decided to open a case and subsequently applied for protection order,” said the source.

According to the insider, Ogle started taking the alleged threats seriously when she was being followed.

Following the charges, Jantjies has reportedly been asking Ogle that they settle the matter out of court.

“He has been begging her to drop the charges, but she won’t budge,” said the source.

The flyhalf declined to comment.

‘I HAVE ENDURED THINGS NO WOMAN DESERVES’

Jantjies and Ogle’s relationship made headlines in August last year when they were spotted cosying-up at the launch of an alcoholic brand at the Indaba Hotel in Sandon, Johannesburg.

This was almost a year after Jantjies made headlines for cheating on his wife Iva Ristic with the Springboks’ dietician, Zeenat Simjee.

Two months after the former couple went public, Ogle – who previously dated rapper Flvme and shares a baby with Lebo M’s former stepson Mthunzi “Shogun” Ngani – announced that she was distancing herself from the rugby player.

“I’ve decided to end my relationship & friendship with Elton T Jantjies. I have endured things no woman deserves, I was deluded & chose to believe in him until numerous reliable sources brought information to my attention that could have implicated me.

“Going forward I will have no further contact with Mr Jantjies & wish him all the best with his future edveours & pray he can respect my decision and leave me, friends & my family alone, ” she wrote in a statement in November.

A source at the time told ZiMoja that Jantjies and Ogle’s romance did not last because of the embattled Boks player’s “insecurities” and “uncontrollable” temper.
