South African President Cyril Ramaphosa addressed the congregation at Fire Tabernacle Prophetic Ministry in Ward 64 in Ekurhuleni recently where he surprisingly took to the podium to preach the word of God.

AMEN! CYRIL RAMAPHOSA SPREADS THE WORD OF GOD

The 2024 general elections will be held on 29 May 2024 and the African National Congress (ANC) are seemingly doing everything in their power to secure their votes.

President Cyril Ramaphosa recently held a sermon in a church in Gauteng. While standing in front of the church congregation, he could be heard saying: “If all of us can humble ourselves as a people, yes, if we can present ourselves to God, humble ourselves as a people and present ourselves to God, he will hear us. But God will only hear us only if we humble ourselves and it is with that humanity that I do believe that we should go forward”.

“Not arrogance, not being proud of ourselves, but in healing the world of the Lord as set out in Chronicles two,” he added.

As the day of the elections come closer and closer, the President has been seen at several events including the party’s manifesto, the Soweto Derby, and more. Could his presence at these occasions influence voters?

This year’s elections coincide with South Africa’s celebration of 30 years of freedom and democracy.

Continuing with his sermon, Ramaphosa read from the bible: “The word says, ‘If my people are called by my name and can humble themselves, and present themselves, I will hear their voice, I will hear their cries, and I will come down and help them”.

Taking to X (the social media previously known as Twitter), the ANC promised that they “will continue to consolidate working relations with key sectors such as the church”.
