‘Literally perfect’: Marise Pollard celebrates Handre on 30th b-day

Marise Pollard took to Instagram on Monday, 11 March to pen a sweet birthday tribute to her husband, Springboks fly-half Handre Pollard, on his 30th birthday.

Springboks fly-half Handre Pollard turned 30 on Monday, 11 March. His wife, Marise Pollard, took to Instagram to share a throwback photo from 12 years ago as she penned a sweet and thoughtful birthday message to the rugby star.

Marise expressed that Handre is selfless, level-headed, loving and “literally perfect” to her. Take a look…

“30 years of you, of which I’ve had a front-row seat for 12 years and man, oh man, what a privilege. (Swipe to see us 12 years ago 😂). Handré, I don’t even know where to begin. I’m still in awe of you every single day. Selfless, level-headed, humble, goal driven, loving, kind and I can go on and on and on,” she wrote.

“In my eyes you are literally perfect. I physically cannot wait to see you in this next phase as a father, our boy has the best person to look up to 🤍 I love you more than words can ever describe and thank you for choosing me,” she continued.

WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT THE COUPLE

Marise and Handre began dating 12 years ago and have been married for six years.

The Pollards tied the knot at the Cavalli Estate in the Cape Winelands, Cape Town, in 2017, according to The Citizen.

The pair are expecting their first baby in April. Marise had her baby shower at the Brookdale Estate in Paarl, Western Cape, in January where she revealed that they were expecting a baby boy. This will be the third “Bok baby” following Eben and Anlia Etzebeth welcoming their first baby in January. Faf and Mine de Klerk then welcomed their first child together in February.
