Nhlanhla Lux’s neighbours confirm bombs, eight people nearly died

Nhlanhla ‘Lux’ Dlamini’s neighbours in Soweto confirmed they were bombed on Monday morning and eight people nearly died.

Julia Motlhamme, who is Nhlanhla Lux’s neighbour in Soweto reveals that her windows were broken by the alleged explosion of bombs.

SOWETO WOMAN: ‘MY CHILDREN ASKED IF I HEARD THE EXPLOSION’

According to Sowetan,  the Soweto woman Julia Motlhamme, who is Nhlanhla Lux’s neighbour told TshisaLIVE that she heard the explosion of a bomb on Monday morning, 20 March, and has been awake since. 

Motlhamme added that the blast which shattered the window of her children’s bedroom scared them.

“The children came to my room and asked if I heard the explosion. We sat in the passage to ensure our safety and then went to the other side to inspect what was happening.”

She adds that her dogs were barking and also agitated by the blasts and two windows were broken.

“I opened for the dogs to get them inside because they were agitated by the explosion and were barking. We haven’t slept since 4am.”

‘IT IS UNCLEAR IF NHLANHLA DLAMINI WAS THE TARGET’

The Soweto woman’s revelation comes after Nhlanhla “Lux” Dlamini revealed on Twitter that his Soweto home was attacked on Monday, 20 March during the national shutdown.

According to the publication, Dlamini revealed the incident happened while he was patrolling in Soweto with police, private security personnel, and community members. 

The politician added that he was patrolling the streets, bringing law and order the entire night in Soweto. 

“Communities were united in defending shops and key points in the area and members of the communities. Two bombs were thrown at my property. This is a sad moment that my family, eight people, nearly died. There were eight people in my house when the bombs were thrown.”
