The South African Weather Service (SAWS) have issued urgent warnings for parts of Kwazulu-Natal. Damaging winds and waves are expected to strike large parts of the coast from today. While Cape Town has been hard hit by storms, the next affected areas include Durban and Port Shepstone. The SA Weather Service have issued warnings for some of Kwazulu-Natal. The affected areas include Port Shepstone and Ray Nkoyeni. Scottburgh, Richards Bay, and Durban are also some of the areas that are on the SAWS Warnings list. These areas might experience damaging winds and waves, according to the official warnings page. The SAWS-issued warnings for Kwazulu-Natal also includes ‘damaging winds’ for Durban. South Africans are warned to be aware of strong winds, which could cause damage to property and add to the potential danger.
