Chippa United have captured former Orlando Pirates winger Luvuyo Memela’s signature but the fans are also calling for Bradley Ralani.

Chippa United are continuing with their shopping spree as they captured former Orlando Pirates winger Luvuyo Memela but fans also want ex-Mamelodi Sundowns attacker, Bradley Ralani.
Memela who shone for Pirates in the past few seasons, joins the Chilli Boys, Chippa after a stint with Durban-based Richards Bay and will look to revive his ailing football career in Gqeberha.

The trigger-happy club, Chippa took to social media to announce the arrival of one of the most experienced and talented players in the South African top tier, Memela.
CHIPPA CAPTURE EX-PIRATES WINGER
The Eastern Cape-based club, Chippa are bolstering its ranks with an aim to avoid another relegation dogfight in the 2023/24 DStv Premiership season and have captured another ex-Pirates player.
Memela will become a key figure and a star player for Chippa as they look to also look to challenge for trophies despite their failure to hold on to coaches.

Under coach Morgan Mammila, the club will bank on the 35-year-old’s ability to unlock defenders and he comes with an eye for goal.
“Chippa United Football Club is thrilled to announce the signing of Luvuyo Memela, marking his homecoming to the Chilli family. Memela’s return to Chippa United is a momentous occasion as the club secures a player who has achieved remarkable success in the PSL,” said the on Monday.

As also reported by The South African last week, Memela joins the likes of Menzi Nwandwe and two former Pirates campaigners, Craig Martin and Augustine Mulenga.
Meanwhile, social media users and fans of the club feel chairman Siviwe Mpengesi must also sign a free agent and ex-Sundowns striker Ralani.
While Sundowns are yet to announce his departure, it is believed that the former Cape Town City star, Ralani is on his way out of Chloorkop.
Ralani was a surprise signing in January 2022 for Sundowns but his contract came to an end last week and he is leaving the club.
