The match was settled by a screamer from Yusuf Maart but Riveiro felt his team should have started better.

Riveiro couldn’t account for the sluggish tempo of the match.

“Not the beginning that we expect. Very low rhythm… I don’t know the reason why both teams… actually there in the first half,” Riveiro told SuperSport TV.

“There was a time where they looked a little bit better – a couple of ball behind our back but it was quite equal first half even though we didn’t play the game we were supposed to play today.

“Second half, I think we improved and changed a bit our structure and we managed to control the rhythm of the game much better.

“We played much more time in their half and when the game was a bit better for us in my opinion they scored a beautiful goal and we couldn’t change the result anymore,” Riveiro added.

The coach insisted that there were plenty of things he will want to work with his team on in the coming week.

“Many things. When you lose obviously you going to find a lot of reasons. There is never one reason why you don’t get the result. We need to know and analyse why the game didn’t work in the beginning. It’s my responsibility so I have to do it and try to help the next time,” he said.
