Kaizer Chiefs have a new Soweto derby in Yusuf Maart. The Atlantis-born star smashed home a wonder goal to hand Amakhosi victory over the bitter enemy.

As The South African website reported on Saturday, Chiefs waited for the 74th minute before Maart fired home long-ranger past Siyabonga Mpontshane – and it was all the Glamour Boys needed to bag the three points.

Speaking during his Man of the Match interview with SuperSport TV, the 27-year-old Maart revealed that the goal would not have been possible without Billiat.
“The 1st opportunity I passed Khama the ball and Khama told me ‘check the goalkeeper’, he’s off his line,” Maart said.

“The 2nd time, Khama intercepted the ball and I already looked up and I just hit it direct,” the Chiefs central midfielder added.
