Although it is no secret that Pirates are in the market for a striker, they already have a whole host of them at the club as it stands.

In news that would’ve not gone down well with a section of the Pirates fans, it was earlier reported that the club were considering keeping Bienvenu Eva Nga. The Cameroonian striker spent most of his first season at the club without making much of an impact, as he hardly made an impact for Jose Riveiro’s side. In the end, Eva Nga was found himself at Pirates, but it seems like it wouldn’t be for long. That is because Soccer-Laduma are reporting that one of his long-term admires in SuperSport United are back in for his services ahead of the new season.

SuperSport and Chippa

“SuperSport is monitoring the situation with Eva Nga at Pirates as the club is looking for strikers. Chippa is also interested in a reunion with the striker”. Said a source to the same publication.

It would probably make sense for both parties to part ways, as Pirates are in pursuit of multiple strikers as it stands, and while Eva Nga will clearly not play a big role next season, the club should be looking to cash in on the player to aid their other transfer business.
