SOCCER LIFE: Ribeiro could miss the MTN8 final [VIDEO]

Brazilian striker Lucas Ribeiro could miss the MTN8 final match between Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates. The 24-year-old limped off in Saturday’s CAF Champions League 2-0 win against Bumamuru. Ribeiro was replaced in the frist ten minutes of the match. Since his arrival to South Africa, the Brazilian has scored five goals for Masandawana in the DStv Premiership. Downs coach Rulani Mokwena said the Ribeiro was under assessment and could not confirm if he’ll be fit to play the MTN8 final against Pirates next weekend. Sundowns beat Bumamuru 4-0 away but could only manage to score two at home however, Mokwena said he was pleased with the performance of the team.
