The next Itumeleng Khune has been found by Amakhosi management who are currently grooming this star to be the next big thing in goal at Kaizer Chiefs.

The next Itumeleng Khune has been found by Amakhosi management who are currently grooming this star to be the next big thing in goal at Kaizer Chiefs.

Legendary names such as Brian Baloyi, Rowan Fernandez, Emile Baron and Khune have represented Chiefs in goal.

Now, it is time for the next big star and Amakhosi management have started to prepare him to take over from Khune in the future.

CHIEFS FIND POTENTIAL ‘NEXT KHUNE’

20-year-old Lungile Nkosi has been called up to train with the first team.

He has reportedly been identified as the potential long-term replacement to Amakhosi legend, Khune.

Khune is expected to be entering into his final season with the Soweto giants.

The former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper likely to transition into a coaching role next season.

AMAKHOSI MANAGEMENT GROOMING NKOSI

Tall and promising youngster Nkosi has been identified as his potential successor.

“In the meantime, indications are that the club has identified a successor for Khune from the club’s development structures and are understood to have already started grooming the youngster,” the report read on SoccerLaduma.

In fact, he has been identified as the man who could replace Khune in the future.

“Lanky 20-year-old Lungile Nkosi is the man Chiefs are believed to be looking at, to fill Khune’s gloves in the future,” he added.
