Richards Bay FC have appointed one of their home boys as Kaitano Tembo’s assistant ahead of the 2023-24 PSL season.

Richards Bay FC have appointed one of their home boys as Kaitano Tembo‘s assistant ahead of the 2023-24 PSL season.

Siboniso ‘Jomo’ Biyela has been promoted from the club’s DStv Diski Challenge team to work with Tembo in the senior team.
Like Tembo, the Empangeni-born coach is a former footballer with clubs such as AmaZulu, Bidvest Wits, Black Aces and Platinum Stars.

Gumede was a central midfielder during his playing days, and he would be expected to impart that to the younger ones at Richards Bay FC.
At the same time, the 37-year-old would hope to learn as much as possible from Tembo who’s an experienced mentor.

The changes at Richards Bay FC come on the back of management sacking the entire technical team a few weeks ago.
