ROMEO FOUND PSL STARTS HARD TO COME BY

Kermit Erasmus clocked up just 18 DStv Premiership appearances last term, scoring once and providing four assists. The form of 25-year-old Monnapule Saleng has seen him become the Buccaneers’ major goal threat, and Zimbabwean striker Terrence Dzvukamanja hit a purple patch and became the club’s first-choice striker. Dzvukamanja has since left for SuperSport though, and that could be good news for Kermit.

Kermit back in the fold for Orlando Pirates at the end of the campaign

Kermit Erasmus did start Pirates’ win over Sekhukhune in the Nedbank Cup final last term. Overall in that competition he made four appearances, scoring twice and assisting once. Is the 32-year-old set to play a more prominent role for the Sea Robbers and help them mount a title push in 2023-24? We shall see.
