Who could have thought? DStv Premiership giants Orlando Pirates have announced the resignation of Floyd Mbele.

Orlando Pirates are set to make a new big appointment. The Sea Robbers have announced the departure of Football Administrator Floyd Mbele.

FLOYD MBELE LEAVES ORLANDO PIRATES

Following rumours of Sinky Mnisi joining the club next season, the Buccaneers have announced the resignation of Floyd Mbele.

“Orlando Pirates has accepted the resignation of the club’s Administration Manager, Mr Floyd Mbele. The Club Management wishes him the best in his future endeavours,” Pirates said on the club’s website.

BUCS TO SIGN TWO NEW CENTRAL DEFENDERS?

Pirates have been highly involved in the past two transfer windows, and we can expect the rapid activity to continue in June-July.

Looking at every top club around the world, the general number of central defenders at each club is five to six. It is the same locally at the likes of Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs.
