Orlando Pirates have announced they have parted with with their Senior Rehabilitation Specialist who will be rejoining the Blue Bulls.

Orlando Pirates have announced they have parted with with their Senior Rehabilitation Specialist who will be rejoining the Blue Bulls.

Stephen Plummer is the staff member that has left Pirates after eight years with the club, and he request the club to release him.

According to a statement released on Thursday, Pirates said they gave Plummer their blessings to rejoin the Blue Bulls.

He had joined the Sea Robbers from the Tshwane-based rugby franchise in 2015, and his departure is seen as a huge loss.

Pirates said the process to fill in the vacant position is underway as well as that of a Sports Scientist.

“Orlando Pirates Football Club can confirm that it has reached an amicable decision to part ways with long serving Senior Rehabilitation Specialist, Stephen Plummer,” reads the statement.
“After spending eight wonderful years with the Club, Stephen will be leaving the Mighty Buccaneers. Stephen has handed in his request to leave the Club to return to the Blue Bulls – a team where was working before joining the Club in 2015.
“Management has given him their blessings and wants to thank Stephen for the years of service.
“The process is underway for the Club to fill this vacancy including that of a Sports Scientist.”
