Orlando Pirates are reportedly closing in on the signature of top quality defender from arch rivals Mamelodi Sundowns!

Orlando Pirates are making big moves in the transfer market ahead of next season.

The Buccaneers are expected to sign a host of big-name players, and the latest name has been revealed!

According to reports, Jose Riveiro is keen on signing a defender from rivals Mamelodi Sundowns!

30-year-old defender Mosa Lebusa is reportedly one of the expected new arrivals in Mayfair!

Lebusa’s contract at Mamelodi Sundowns is set to end this month, meaning he’ll join the club for FREE.

Lebusa linked with Orlando Pirates move!

“Soweto giants Orlando Pirates look set to raid rivals Mamelodi Sundowns for versatile defender Mosa Lebusa to beef up their squad to compete on all fronts next season.” a KickOff report read.

“Lebusa’s contract at Sundowns is believed to expire at the end of June with the Buccaneers eyeing adding the Bafana Bafana international to Jose Riveiro’s side in a shrewd transfer move.”

In other news, interest is pouring in for an Orlando Pirates attacker who’s set to leave the club.

The Ghanaian attacker joined the Buccaneers in 2021 from King Faisal FC. Despite scoring nine goals in his opening season at the club, Peprah was shipped out on loan to Maritzburg United.

Peprah struggled to impress at Maritzburg United who are on the brink of getting relegated to the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

There is some good news though for Peprah with Tanzanian giants Azam FC and Young Africans both interested in signing him!
