Pitso Mosimane officially announces departure from Al Ahli!

Pitso Mosimane has officially announced his departure from Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli just days after his exit made news headlines.

Mosimane had joined Al Ahli in October 2022 with the sole mandate to promote the team back to the Saudi Pro League.

And it took him eight months to delivered on the mandate, doing that in style as Al Ahli were crowned Saudi Yelo League champions.

Now, Mosimane expressed his utmost satisfaction at achieving his mandate to promote Al Ahli to the Saudi Pro League.

However, he admitted that wouldn’t have been possible without the players, the technical team, the staff members that supported him and the fans.

PITSO MOSIMANE BIDS FAREWELL TO AL AHLI

“As we end our relationship with Al Ahli FC Saudi and look forward to new opportunities, I would like to my utmost satisfaction for having achieved the difficult task of promoting the team back to the Saudi Pro League. Within 8 months, we not only secured the promotion but also claimed the championship title in the 1st Division League,” said Mosimane in a statement.

“We would have never achieved this feat without the players who continuously played their hearts out, the technical team and staff that supported me and the players throughout, and finally, thank you for the undying support from the Al Ahli supporters; your presence on the stands home and away was the best motivator.

“I wish the team continuous success in its future endeavours,” concluded Mosimane.
