Orlando Pirates legend Happy Jele is reportedly stuck in limbo over his future.

Jele spent last season at Royal AM after ending his 16-year spell at the Buccaneers.

Jele signed a short-term contract at MaMkhize’s Royal AM last season which ended in June.

The 36-year-old defender was due to re-negotiate with AM however is yet to hear from the club regarding his future at the club!

“Happy Jele is left in limbo and the club is blue ticking his messages as they are not telling him what is happening,” a source told iDiskiTimes.

In other news, Orlando Pirates are set to jet out to Spain for their upcoming pre-season camp.

The Buccaneers reported for duty last week at the High-Performance Centre in Tshwane. The players were medically assessed and next travel to Rustenburg where physical training begins! (https://www.hitc.com)

José Riveiro and his squad will be based in Marabella from July 9 to July 21, 2023 for their pre-season camp.

In Spain, Orlando Pirates will face Maccabi Tel Aviv, Ecuador’s Independiente del Valle and local Spanish second tier side UD Las Palmas.

Other teams that will be camped in Marbella include Bournemouth, Charlton Athletic, Al Ain FC, Espanyol, Chelsea’s under-18s and more!
