Mamelodi Sundowns defender wanted by African giants!

Mamelodi Sundowns defender Brian Onyango has been linked with an exit from the club.

The 28-year-old Kenyan defender has struggled for game-time at the Brazilians.

Despite joining the club in 2020, Onyango has made just 40 stars for the club. Worrying for Onyango, he made just nine starts.

The latest reports suggest DR Congo giants TP Mazembe are interested in signing the Kenyan international.

Mamelodi Sundowns defender linked with TP Mazembe

Former Mamelodi Sundowns man Luís Miquissone is reportedly pushing for a permanent Al Ahly exit.

The Mozambican winger, currently on the books of Al Ahly, was sent out on loan to Saudi Arabia’s Abha FC.

Miquissone made just four appearances for Abha before abruptly leaving the club before season concluded.

The latest reports suggest the former Simba attacker is not keen on returning to Al Ahly, or being loaned out for the remainder of his contract which ends in June 2024.

“The 27-year-old has been training with his former club UD Songo for the past two months and is now due to head back to Egypt for talks on the way forward.” a Kick-Off report read regarding the former Mamelodi Sundowns man.

“KickOff can disclose that while his former club Simba are interested the intention is to continue in the Middle East with one Saudi second-tier league club keen to bring him on board.

“Miquissone still has a running contract with Al Ahly and is not keen on another loan move as he prefers a permanent switch if the Egyptians have no intention to retain him.”
