Kaizer Chiefs sent shockwaves through the local soccer scene on Wednesday afternoon.

The Glamour Boys confirmed sweeping changes which saw Arthu Zwane being demoted back to being an assistant coach.

In his place, Molefi Ntseki was promoted to head coach from his ‘Head of Technical and Youth Development’ role.

Ntseki has since opened up on his blockbuster appointment at the mighty Amakhosi.

“I fully accept this huge responsibility that the Chairman, our Board of Directors and the Club have bestowed on me with humility and respect.” Molefi said after being appointed as the new Kaizer Chiefs head coach as quoted by IdiskiTimes.

“I thank them for their confidence and belief in me to become the captain of the ship.

“I look forward to working with everyone involved in the technical team to bring joy to our millions of Amakhosi supporters around the world.”

Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Dumisani Zuma looks set to be a free agent once again.

The former Bloemfontein Celtic star was released by Chiefs at the end of last season due to reported disciplinary issues.

Zuma however failed to re-pay his boss with anything on the field of play, scoring just one goal in 23 appearances for Usuthu.

The latest reports suggest the club have run out of patience with him and he’s on his way out at AmaZulu. Zuma spent just one season at the club, after joining them from Kaizer Chiefs.

“Dumisani Zuma is expected to leave AmaZulu upon the expiry of his contract at the end of June having failed to stop a disappointing trend about his game time contribution.” a SoccerLaduma report read.
