Mamelodi Sundowns are becoming African giants, says Asamoah Gyan

Former Ghana captain and striker Asamoah Gyan believes Mamelodi Sundowns are fast becoming the giants of African football.

Former Ghana captain and striker Asamoah Gyan believes Mamelodi Sundowns are fast becoming the giants of African football.

Gyan visited the Sundowns base in Chloorkop where he got to familiarise himself with the 2016 African champions.

And he was impressed with the setup and the infrastructure at Sundowns, saying the Tshwane giants deserve the success they are currently enjoying.

Gyan further praised Sundowns for their great vision before wishing them the best of luck in everything they want to achieve in the future.

“I just want to wish them luck. Mamelodi Sundowns are becoming the giants in African football,” Gyan told the Sundowns media department.

“Talking locally, they are also top of the league. Everything that they are doing, they have a vision, and the vision is great, the infrastructure and everything.

“They deserve everything they are earning now. So, I just want to wish them luck in the future and in everything they are doing,” concluded Gyan.
