Khama Billiat’s Kaizer Chiefs future takes surprise twist

Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly set to offer Khama Billiat a contract extension at Naturena despite his recent struggles at the club

Kaizer Chiefs were tipped to let go of Khama Billiat at the end of the season due to his limited contribution at the club.

Billiat is one of the club’s too earners and frankly speaking, the investment wasn’t paying off.

Even when Billiat has been fit, he’s struggled to leave his mark at the Glamour Boys during recent seasons.

New reports however suggest the Glamour Boys are NOT going to offload Billiat at the end of the season.

Instead the club are tipped to offer him a ‘short term’s new contract at the club.

Kaizer Chiefs have a change of heart on Billiat?

“The club has made sure he gets the best medical assistance available to ensure he recovers well from the injury he is carrying.” a source told Citizen.

“I am not sure how long they will give him, but he will stay for at least another season.”

In other news, four former Orlando Pirates stars are set to enjoy a mini-reunion in Botswana.

Gaborone side VTM is currently home to both Rooi Mahamutsa and Sifiso Myeni.
