Kaizer Chiefs latest: Msimango’s ‘come-and-get me’ plea to Amakhosi

TS Galaxy captain Given Msimango has issued a ‘come-and-get-me’ plea to Kaizer Chiefs who are reported to be very keen on signing him.

However, while reports of Msimango possibly leaving The Rockets for Amakhosi continue to hog the headlines, the 25-year-old said he knows nothing about the proposed deal.

Msimango said Tim Sukazi is the one who handles everything as the club boss, adding that he hasn’t told him anything about rhe reported Chiefs interest.

But perhaps the good news for the Chiefs fans is that Msimango wants a change of environment, and a new challenge as a player.

And he doesn’t see any problem joining Chiefs, saying if both Kaizer Motaung and Tim Sukazi agree, then he would gladly welcome the move.

Msimango is still contracted to TS Galaxy until June 2024, and he understands that he cannot leave if the management decides to keep him at the club.

“I won’t lie to you, I am not sure what’s happening. I know these things are handled by the chairman [Tim Sukazi] but I can confirm that no one has told me anything about joining Chiefs,” said Msimango to Sowetan.

“I have always said that now I am ready for a new challenge, a bigger challenge for that matter.”

“It’s really time for me to change environment but at the end of the day I can’t force the move to happen. I am only a player.

“The people who have powers to make it happen are the chairmen from both clubs [Sukazi and Kaizer Motaung]. I won’t leave without Galaxy’s blessings at the end of the day,” added Msimango.
