Cole Alexander has been linked with a likely exit for months.

However, he was named in Amakhosi’s starting line-up to take on Sekhukhune United on Sunday, 23 April 2023.

Alexanders contract is coming to an end at the end of the season.

Furthermore, he has been linked with a likely departure for months having fallen down the pecking order since Arthur Zwane took over.

Ngcobo is out for the season while Sithebe is serving a one-match ban.

This, after accumulating his fourth yellow card of the season.

Therefore, Alexander was named ahead of Kamohelo Mahlatsi, who has been preferred in the midfield.

So, Amakhosi management may have made a U-turn on his situation. Meaning, he may stay at Naturena after all.

Alexander has attracted interest from PSL rivals.

So, even if his return is short lived and his contract is not renewed, he has potential suitors.
