Amakhosi management have invited six players to train with the first team.

Therefore, all of these players have been earmarked for promotion. Meaning, if they make a mark at training they could be signed to the first team.

• Mfundo Vilakazi – midfielder
• Takalani Mazhamba – goalkeeper
• Thulani Mabaso – defensive midfielder
• Siyabonga Gumede – defender
• Puso Dithejane – midfielder/defender
• Neo Bohloko – midfielder

So, Vilakazi, Mazhamba, Mabaso, Gumede, Dithejane and Bohloko were all recently invited to train with Amakhosi’s senior side.

“What I can tell you is that they have invited six players from the Diski Challenge side and these are the players who are earmarked for promotion,” the insider confirmed on SoccerLaduma.

Amakhosi’s DDC influence continues to grow. Lasts season, Samkelo Zwane and Mduduzi Shabalala impressed. We also caught a couple exciting glimpses of Wandile Duba. Furthermore, Aden McCarthy and Bontle Molefe were both promoted last season.

However, neither Molefe nor McCarthy has made their senior team debuts yet. So, this could change this season under Ntseki.

ALL PLAYERS IN LINE FOR FIRST TEAM PROMOTION

Meaning, all this players are in line to earn first team contracts. In fact, Amakhosi management is planning on handing some of these stars first team contracts.

“Some could be promoted full-time while others would be featuring for both Diski Challenge team and the senior team depending on what the technical team wants or needs that particular week or in a specific game,” he added.

Therefore, Ntseki, Arthur Zwane, Dillon Sheppard and Amakhosi management will be closely monitoring these players during the pre-season.
