Striker burns his bridges with Chiefs

It is difficult to predict the future in football – but we highly doubt that Caleb Bimenyimana will ever return to Kaizer Chiefs.

Who could have thought? Kaizer Chiefs have axed Caleb Bimenyimana much earlier than any of us imagined.

KAIZER CHIEFS RELEASE CALEB BIMENYIMANA

After a storming start of seven goals in eight matches last year, Amakhosi have surprisingly parted ways with the 25-year-old Burundian.

“Kaizer Chiefs have come to an agreement with striker, Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana to part ways after one season,” the club announced.

“He featured 21 times for Chiefs (17 starts + 4 subs) and found the back of the net 8 times.

“He will be free to join a team of his choice, and we wish him well in his future,” Amakhosi added.

In the meantime, the Burundian has gone online to take a massive dig on the Glamour Boys.

“It was a hard decision to take but after all what happened it worth it,” Caleb said via Instagram.

“All I can say is thank you lord, my prayers has been answered.

“I feel really happy to be free. God never disappoints me. I can’t wait for the next chapter,” he concluded.
