MOLEFI NTSEKI LEAVES KAIZER CHIEFS

As The South African website previously reported, the Glamour Boys decided to part ways with Ntseki was just three wins from 13 games in charge, including four draws and six defeats.

“Following a meeting on Monday morning, Molefi Ntseki’s tenure as Head Coach of Kaizer Chiefs has ended amicably by mutual consent,” the club said in the official statement.

“Given the recent run of disappointing results, the parties agreed that this was the best course of action under the prevailing circumstances,” the report added.

REPORTS: NTSEKI DEMANDED TO LEAVE

According to SundayWorld, Ntseki was duly disturbed by the three violent attacks from supporters. The first was in Mbombela after the 1-0 loss to TS Galaxy in August. Another attack followed in Nelspruit after a 1-0 defeat to SuperSport United in September.

The final straw was the third attack after the 1-0 loss AmaZulu in the Carling Knockout last 16 at the FNB Stadium.

SundayWorld believe that Ntseki pleaded with the Chiefs hierarchy to let him go.

“He then went to a meeting with the club chairman, they had a decent conversation, shook hands and then it was over,” a source within the club told the outlet.

“The coach also felt the club did not do enough to protect him, because Jessica [Motaung] came out to address the matter only after two incidents,” the report added.
