According to Dolly, his former teammates such as Khama Billiat, Leonardo Castro and Lebogang Manyama have made him comfortable at Chiefs.

However, he singled out three members of the Chiefs technical team in Stuart Baxter, Molefi Ntseki and Arthur Zwane as individuals who helped him find his groove.

And that’s because these are three coaches he worked with at Bafana Bafana while he was still plying his trade in France for Montpelier.

Baxter was the head coach of Bafana Bafana for two years between 2017 and 2019 with Ntseki as his assistant.

And soon after Baxter’s resignation, Ntseki was roped in as head coach of Bafana Bafana with Arthur Zwane as his assistant.

“Being able to come back and meet players that you played with in the past and working with coaches that you worked with in the national team before in coach Stuart, coach Ntseki and coach Arthur Zwane,” Dolly told reporters.

“Working with all these people made it easier for me to settle in and me coming back, I knew what I needed to do and where I needed to be,” said Dolly.

Dolly further revealed that his mentality hasn’t changed since his Ajax Cape Town days, saying he’s never been someone who settles for less.

“I think you can see with the performances. I didn’t want to come back here and just relax. I’m my own worst critic and that has been so since my Ajax days,” continued.

“I’m never settling for less. I have always wanted to grow as a person and as a player and that is what I have been doing,” added Dolly.
