Mahlatsi has fallen down the midfield Amakhosi midfield ranks with the arrival of new signings. Mduduzi Mdantsane and Edson Castillo were recently signed while Yusuf Maart, Samkelo Zwane and Nkosingiphile Ngcobo are all ahead of him in the pecking order. Furthermore, Siyethembe Sithebe is also preferred in the midfield.

However, there are a couple of players who find themselves in the same boat. These men have also fallen down the pecking order and are unlikely to feature for the Soweto giants.

MORE MIDFIELD EXITS EXPECTED AT NATURENA

George Matlou and Sabelo Radebe should both consider new clubs if they are to get gametime this season. Moreover, Happy Mashiane is also struggling for regular playing time as he did last season under Arthur Zwane.

Radebe and Mashiane have been linked with possible loan moves while Mahlatsi is likely to be released. Therefore, given that Matlou is in the same boat a loan or release could be likely for the Amakhosi midfielder too.
