Loads more transfer rumours

What would a week in South Africa be without rumours linking Chiefs to every single good player in the country? With Siyabonga Ngezana out the door, perhaps the club might intensify their search for another utility defender to provide depth. Separating the fact from the fiction is the main challenge these days.

Transfer disappointment

With Katlego Otladisa seemingly on his way to Orlando Pirates, the Glamour Boys could also be deflated by news that Pitso Mosimane is eyeing up a move for Thulani Serero. That’s not good news, if rumours of Chiefs interest in the 33-year-old is concrete. Is Pitso going to do ‘a madness’ at the expense of Kaizer Chiefs?

10111 will continue to act professionally

Imagine you’re 10111, trying to go about your business and the entire country is speaking about who is going to replace you in your job. Must surely be a bit annoying, stressful and strange? And, until he’s officially relieved of his duties, Zwane will continue to conduct himself like the professional he is.

Nabi appointment might take a while

57-year-old Nasreddine Nabi wants to bring his supporting staff which includes an assistant coach, a goalkeeper coach, and a strength and conditioning coach. Chiefs have agreed that Nabi can bringing two members of the supporting staff but they remain locked in negotiations about a third member. As you know by now, Nabi has guided Young Africans of Tanzania to back-to-back trebles and is highly sought after. This might get dragged out though.

Nurkovic controversy rumbles on

Samir Nurkovic may not be a Chiefs player anymore, but he’s still a popular cult figure among supporters. MaMkhize’s Royal AM have been ordered to pay “Kokota Piano” and his representatives a figure to the tune of R12 million. Their deadline was Monday June 19th, but that sage might drag into who knows when.
