So many observers have interesting views on Kaizer Chiefs. A former player believes coach Cavin Johnson is too comfortable.

KAIZER CHIEFS COACH CAVIN JOHSON IS RELAXED?

Remember Mike Rapatsa at Amakhosi? The former striker is not happy with coach Cavin.

This criticism follows after Chiefs’ shock Nedbank Cup last 32 exit last Sunday. It was at the hands of Milford FC from the lower Motsepe Foundation Championship (MFC).

Subsequently, Rapatsa said Johnson does not seem like a coach under pressure. Additionally, Johnson appears to be guaranteed a future position at Chiefs.

“He is so relaxed as if he owns Kaizer Chiefs,” Rapatsa told FARPost, as per the Citizen.

“I have never seen a coach who is not under pressure to perform like I see Cavin Johnson. It’s like he is being guaranteed something by the management. Every coach would be under pressure to perform by now.

“If the results are not forthcoming, you should be trembling. I mean is like there is a guarantee no matter what happens that he is there to stay,” the former Chiefs player added.

“Let me be brutally honest with you. Cavin Johnson is not a coach. If we compare Johnson and Rulani Mokwena of Sundowns, who is doing his Job? It’s Mokwena. He is helping his players to get into scoring positions and doing so as a team. But I don’t see Cavin Johnson working hard,” Rapatsa concluded.

NEXT DSTV PREMIERSHIP FIXTURE

Meanwhile, coach Johnson has another chance to show Rapatsa a different look this weekend.

Chiefs return to DStv Premiership action against Moroka Swallows. The game is set for Saturday at the FNB Stadium at 17:45.
