Kaizer Chiefs superstar Itumeleng Khune seems to have enough of bullies and harsh critics. The 34-year-old goalkeeper boosted his own self-confidence on social media.

Even before the Ventersdorp-born star returned to the big stage last weekend in the DStv Compact Cup, Itumeleng Khune had become too aware of the “you are finished” messages online.

The same bashings inspired the former Bafana Bafana to deliver a stellar performance in the DStv Compact Cup last weekend before the goalie came went online to somewhat ‘bury his haters.’

“I am the Captain of my fate, the BOSS of my dreams, the KING of my GOALS!” Itumeleng Khune said.

The message was concluded by a long hashtag that said: Thank You All For Believing In Me And MyTalent,” which is obviously his appreciation for the fans who voted for him to play in the DStv Compact Cup.

There’s just no question how the Amakhosi star fully enjoyed the inaugural DStv Compact Cup. The 34-year-old finished the tournament off by playing as a television presenter last Saturday.

His Warriors FC become the champions of the DStv Premiership’s new Compact Cup. The Gauteng side beat Coastal United 2-1, thanks to a rather brilliant brace from Swallows FC’s Ruzaigh Gamildien.
