Kaizer Chiefs star Given Msimango has urged the club’s fans to remain patient amidst a nine year trophy drought.

The Glamour Boys have one last chance to win a trophy this season in the form of the Nedbank Cup after falling out of the league title race.

“I don’t want to sound like a broken record telling them it is a process, and they must be patient. Which in all honesty is true, but as players we try to focus on the controllable.

“That is to focus on your game and giving the best performance possible to entertain the fans, because that is what they expect from Kaizer Chiefs. We want to win every match we play and thereby get the rewards our supporters deserve.”

In other news, Pitso Mosimane’s son was spotted playing for the Kaizer Chiefs Under-13 side in the Gauteng Development League.

Reatlegile Mosimane put on a superb performance for the Amakhosi juniors on Saturday morning scoring once and assisting twice against Kathorus Hyper Academy.

Chiefs development defeated their opponents 4-0 on the day and in the process booked their place in the semi-finals.
