There’s some good news for Orlando Pirates fans ahead of today’s blockbuster MTN8 semi-final match against Stellenbosch

South Africa will come to a standstill this afternoon when Orlando Pirates host Stellenbosch at the Orlando Stadium.

The Buccaneers hold a slender advantage heading into today’s MTN8 semi-final second leg after picking up a dramatic 2-1 victory in the first leg.

Olivier Toure opened the scoring for Stellenbosch however Zakele Lepasa leveled matters for the visitors on the hour mark.

It then took a 94th minute Deon Hotto goal to earn a crucial first leg away win for the Buccaneers.

Orlando Pirates vs Stellenbosch: Television broadcast info

While most Bucs fans rarely get to watch their team live on television, there’s some good news ahead of today’s clash!

The national broadcaster, SABC, have confirmed that today’s match will be televised live on SABC 1.

The match will also be televised live on SuperSport PSL. Today’s second leg between Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch gets underway at 15:00.

“The difference between the Cup games and league games is clear. Sunday is Sunday! There’s nothing else after Sunday for one of the two teams,” Riveiro said as quoted by IOL.

“We’ll go forward or go home. That’s the thing that changes approaches. It changes everything. Stellenbosch are not coming to Orlando for points, but to try and get to the final.”
