It has hardly been a secret that Nange was likely to leave Chiefs, as his lack of game time during the season, was perhaps the biggest indication that he was no longer in the plans of the club’s management. Even after the departure of Njabulo Blom and the injury to Cole Alexander, the lanky midfielder was not able to command much game time in the middle of the park for Amakhosi.

Nange was constantly overlooked for the likes of Yusuf Maart, Siyethemba Sithebe and Samkelo Zwane. Coser to the end of the last season, the player found himself increasingly linked with an exit from Chiefs, with SuperSport United the most persistent name attached to him. That seems to have been for good reason, as now KickOff.com have revealed that, A Matsatsatsana A Pitori are going to be his next destination, with the deal being all but agreed.

Nange leaves Chiefs for SuperSport United

“Everything has been sorted out. It’s a matter of signatures. It should be sorted out in the next day or two” said a source to the same publication.

Nange is not expected to be the only midfielder that parts ways with Chiefs during the off-season, with fellow veteran Cole Alexander also thought to be of interest to SuperSport. Unlike the former Black Leopards star, Alexander still has one more year left one contract at the Glamour Boys and unless they can agree to terminate, Gavin Hunt’s side will have to pay Amakhosi a transfer fee for his services.

Nange on the other hand, will be hoping for a change of fortunes under his former coach Hunt, who signed him both at Bidvest Wits and at Chiefs.
