Furthermore, Pirates and Sundowns are believed to both be interested in signing Congolese striker Andy Boyeli. While The Brazilians are believed to be leading for Mokwana’s signature, The Buccaneers look to be closing in on Boyeli. But ahead of the off-season transfer window, the two are expected to compete for more names in the market. The latest of those names is AmaZulu attacker Tshepang Moremi.

Now, with both Pirates and Sundowns vying for Moremi’s signature, AmaZulu has reportedly set a price.

AmaZulu quote Pirates and Sundowns R10-12 million for Moremi

“You know, for now it will be who is the highest bidder (between Pirates and Sundowns) because of the money issues. The club has evaluated the player (Moremi), and since he is still young and very talented, his value is up there. I understand it’s around R10 million to R12 million. That’s not bad for a player the team has developed by themselves from a junior (age). But as I have said, it will all depend on the highest bidder. As for now it’s between Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates,” said a source to Soccer-Laduma

A second source reveals that Moremi is ready to leave AmaZulu to test himself at either Pirates or Sundowns.

“I don’t think that would be a problem. As a player, he (Moremi) is ready to move on. You know, he spent a season on loan last season at JDR Stars and that taught him how to work hard away from the club, and that has also added to his value because now he has experience and knowledge of football. You can also see the way he plays this season. But now, it’s all up to the interested teams (Pirates and Sundowns) to meet the club’s demands and sign him,” said the second source.
