FORMER ORLANDO PIRATES DUO ROPED IN AS COACHES

“It is true that I have been appointed as the head coach of Jacksa Spears which is a club based in Northern Cape and not far from in Warrengton,” said Mothibi.

“It is an ABC Motsepe League club and is owned by a gentleman called Mojalefa Sethuntsa. I have been appointed alongside with another former Pirates player in Bongani Cashibe who will be my assistant.

“Bongani played for Pirates, Maritzburg United, and Tembisa Classic among other clubs. Jacksa Spears is the same team that played in the Nedbank Cup Last 32 during the 2012-13 season and lost to African Warriors,” he explained.

“I was a player/coach back then, and Thulani Nkosi who is now with Upington City, was the head coach. Cashibe was part of that group, and we have returned to the club to help the owner to get the club promoted.”

“We would like to give hope to the local kids and people here about professional football in the area. Former Jomo Cosmos defender Ricardo Versuur is one of the players we have already signed,” concluded Mothibi.
