There *wee* have it. Stellenbosch University has suspended the white student who was caught urinating on a black student’s laptop, in what was allegedly a racially-motivated act. Officials at Stellies have since condemned his actions as ‘unacceptable’.
The first-year student was recorded as he entered the room where his black dorm-mate was sleeping. There was initially confusion, after the victim questioned what was going on. The suspended party allegedly made a racist remark, while continuing to urinate on certain belongings.
A desk, books, and one laptop were all in the firing line here. The short clip ends abruptly, and in the 24 hours since it was made public on social media, the incident has become a national talking point.
The reckless truck driver caught on camera driving recklessly and nearly causing an accident has been found and arrested.
Mpumalanga MEC for Community Safety, Security and Liaison, Vusi Shongwe said although the incident occurred on the KwaZulu-Natal’s R34 road, the truck has a Mpumalanga registration.
He said on Monday that the driver has since been found and arrested.
