A mother from the Western Cape was horrified to find shards of glass in a packet of Spekko RICE.

Rhenda Stephan said she recently found three shards of glass coming from the same pack of Spekko rice.

“I was cooking the rice when I noticed two shards of glass. I was very outraged and showed my husband!

“I then took it out, but when I saw another piece the second time, I couldn’t believe it! I tried calling them, but as I said, got no answer.”

Rhenda Stephan said.

Spekko is yet to respond to the accusations.

Woolworths, a popular supermarket chain known for its commitment to providing fresh and quality products, now faces questions regarding the origin of the uninvited spinach guest.
