Hlaudi Motsoeneng

Motsoeneng delayed a Morning Live broadcast so a group could sing a song in his honour [video]

Next level!

Hlaudi Motsoeneng

Just… wait… what? Okay, so we know Hlaudi Motsoeneng is pretty special and in his world, Hlaudi is king. But this is some next level shit right here.

The Saturday Star reported that the chief instigator at the SABC decided to delay the broadcast of Morning Live’s 7am Live’s news bulletin by a whole SEVEN MINUTES so that a group from Lesotho could sing a song in his honour.

According to The Star,

SABC staff said were scared to pull the plug on the song on Tuesday morning because they feared being fired if they did.

The song went like this:

“Leave him (Hlaudi Motsoeneng) alone. Hlaudi wants African music to grow. We thank God for Hlaudi Motsoeneng. May God protect him for us. We love him.”

Says quite a bit about how many people watches SABC that this happened midweek and nobody seemed to have noticed…
