As people get older, they tend to forget about their goals and dreams. One woman has however proved that you can do anything you set your mind to – regardless of how old you are. The 82-year-old managed to graduate, with no less than 25 distinctions.

The post of her achievement amassed thousands of reactions as many social media users marvelled at her tenacity and refusal to give up on herself.

Not everyone thinks about going back to school after they reach a certain age. This is because many people believe it may be too late for them to accomplish that kind of goal.

One elderly woman, Sophy Baphelile Ntuli, has proven that there is definitely no age limit on your dreams.

Taking to the social media app LinkedIn, one user, Thomas Mawela, shared how 82-year-old Sophy bagged her degree and did so with 25 distinctions!

In his caption, Thomas encouraged others to follow their dreams the same way Sophy did – no matter how old or even young they may be.

“Meet Sophy Baphelile Ntuli, an 82-year-old graduate (with 25 distinctions). For black children, it is possible. Your dream may be delayed, but it is not denied. Ugogo wami intombi endala must be a graduate, please! Some interesting lessons… it’s never too late to start!”

Mzansi is definitely inspired

The post reached many people and touched all of their hearts. A number of them wished Sophy well while others simply remarked what a great achievement her graduation is.

One particularly proud person, Charles FV Chitekwe commented:

While another, Henry Mabanga wrote:
