Veteran actress Connie Ferguson shared her fitness routine with her followers via an Instagram video on Monday 15 November. 

CONNIE FERGUSON SKIPS BACK INTO HER FITNESS ROUTINE 

Connie Ferguson has always been body goals. She took some time off from work after the death of her beloved husband, Shona Ferguson on 30 July. Shona unexpectedly passed away due to COVID-19 related complications.

After taking some time to grieve, Connie headed back to work. She also got back into her fitness routine. The Queen star has a separate Instagram account for her fitness workouts where she has 109 000 followers. The entire Instagram page is dedicated to fitness. In the most recent video, Connie shows her followers how she skips into her pre-workouts. 

“Good morning my champs. So I am back with my Monday moves. I love to skip as a warm up before my workouts,” she began. 

“Disclaimer, I am not a professional skipper but I find it a fun way to warm up before each exercise session. So today I’m going to share, like you so nicely asked me.. Steps to do some of the steps I do when I skip,” she continued. 

STEPS TO CONNIE’S SKIPPING ROUTINE

  • Step one: Hop, leg forward. Hop, leg forward. 
  • Step two: Repeat. 
  • Step three: Run. The running man. 

“I’m slowly getting back to my workout routine and one of my favorite ways to warm up is skipping. Some of you asked that I share moves, tutorial style!???? I’m not a professional skipper but I’m happy to take you along on the ride as I learn new moves myself” the post was captioned.

In other videos posted to the Instagram page, Connie is seen kickboxing with a twist — Muay Thai. 

“Yesterday #killthemallandcomebackalive @mfinifit_ somehow convinced some of his clients, myself, @ali.ferguson_ and @ayandathabethe_ included, to try out something different in the form of Muay Thai!???? ,” she wrote.

“I’ve never done it before so this was a first! Normally my muscle takes a day or two to react to exercise, so I was shook when suddenly last night I was stiff and sore as hell!????In a strange way I liked it because it showed I worked differently and therefore should experience different results! Change is as good as a holiday right? Only in this case there’s no rest!???????????? Thanks coach for the challenge!????????❤️,” she continued.
