Recipe of the Day: Sticky cola BBQ chicken [Video]

When you’re in the mood for a braai, you don’t always want to cook chicken with the red meat, but if you’ve got this sticky cola BBQ chicken and bacon jalapeno poppers recipe on hand, you don’t need anything else on that grill.

This BBQ cola glaze is just so perfectly sweet and savoury, giving you loads of layers of flavour while also being perfect for spareribs, beef ribs and vegetables. The addition of bacon jalapeno poppers as a side dish, turns this tasty outdoor treat into one you’ll be making more often. The chicken is super tender while the skin is all kinds of crispy and sticky. The poppers have the bacon holding them together while being spicy and “bacony”.
